So after being married for what might be the longest 6 months of my life, Tiffany forced me against my will to go on a honeymoon. I mean, it’s snowboard season. What. The. Hell. Anyway, I held out for as long as anyone that’s super awesome reasonably can. But in the end I just could not take all the excruciatingly inhumane physical and mentally scarring verbal abuse so I eventually caved.
Fast forward 5 minutes and now we’re leaving in the morning to spend the weekend in Chicago and then two and a half weeks in Thailand. It’s been a very long time since I’ve flown anywhere that didn’t involve snowboarding or for work so I don’t really know what to expect. Don’t worry though, Tiffany does as she just planed the entire trip while I was typing up this very post as you can see here:

Amazing.
All kidding aside, Tiffany did do all the planning which I am really eternally-grateful-but-will-take-it-all-for-granted sort of way. I will *try* to update the blog with what we’re doing and bringing my camera as well.
I haven’t updated in a while so here’s a super turbo mega picture update of roughly what we’ve been up to in the last couple of months. Enjoy!
In September we went to Vegas and got married.
A few of our awesome friends joined us…

Got to “race” this Ferrari 458 Italia and a Porsche 911 Turbo around a track. Simply amazing. A must do if you’re in Vegas and like/love cars.
We visited NY.

Dirt is now fully grown. Rza is somehow still growing. Sideways.
I just realized I never made an update on the nameless kitten Tiffany brought home from her Aunt’s farm in Kansas so here it is:
The kitten for the most part is Tiffany’s dream come true. She loves attention, lets you hold her, is social, and is very playful. Pretty much the polar opposite of Rza who is almost only friendly if she thinks you’re going to feed her. Basically a homeless person who doesn’t smell. Or is homeless.
Anyway, we did give her a name and sticking with the WuTangClan theme went with Dirt McGirt — Dirt for short. I personally wanted to name her Inspectah Deck, but due to her incredibly mangy appearance when we got her and the fact that her butt was literally covered in her own shit for the first few weeks of ownership, Dirt McGirt was just much more appropriate.
With the new kitten, came plenty of issues with Rza, our plus-sized adult cat. Rza definitely saw Dirt as an intruder in her domain. Exactly what most websites said when I looked into the issue right after Tiffany told me Rza needed a friend. Rza being large and in charge as Rza is, showed her displeasure by peeing and pooping in a multitude of places around the house that unfortunately did not include her liter box. Something she managed to do for years without issue. Every time Dirt goes near Rza, she gets hissed at. They roll around quite a bit, but Rza sounds like she’s about to kill Dirt. I think Dirt is actually having fun with it considering she instigates it almost every time. Miraculously, the kitten is still alive.
Despite all that, Dirt is a pretty great cat. She’s significantly more brave than Rza would ever hope to be. She’ll come right up to you and fall asleep next to or on top of you. Though her being a brave little farm cat means she’s also not shy about pursuing food. We’re still trying to teach her that she only gets cat food. I have found her face buried in a bowl of ramen noodles when I wasn’t looking. During dinner, you can find her on the table hoping for some scraps. In the picture above, she was actually staring at our food and before she made her move she ended up falling asleep instead.
Though my favorite thing about her is that when she comes down the stairs or any higher surface, she squeaks like a dog toy. That never gets old.
